Covid19 Precautions Followed at Beyond Dosa

The COVID19 pandemic is spreading in its numbers, prevention and precaution is the mantra. We at Beyonddosa putting on emphasis not only on hygiene but also on the safety and wellbeing of all our customers.

Covid19 Precautions taken at Beyond Dosa:

Precautions at Food Preparation Stations:

  • All the utensils that are involved in food preparations are washed, rinsed, and sanitized. This applies to all food contact surfaces dishware, utensils, food preparation surfaces, and beverage equipment.
  • The areas which are touched frequently or utilized are constantly disinfected and sanitized such as chairs, door knobs etc. Floors, tables are regularly swiped cleaned.
  • Food preparations are done with complete care and dust free environment.
  • Unused utensils are promptly washed and cleaned, dried thereafter.
  • Hand gloves, masks are used wherever necessary.
  • Food is cooked adequately, at required temperatures and served prompty.

Precautions for Health of Employees:

  • All employees are periodically tested for Covid 19 and carry relevant certificate.
  • Emphasize on simple things such as hand hygiene practices, washing hands for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom, before eating, coughing, or sneezing.
  • It is mandatory to wash hands with soap and water. If soap and water are not readily available, then use alcohol-based hand sanitizers.
  • Working with unwrapped or exposed foods is prohibited and is thrown away.
  • Avoiding touching eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • Using gloves to avoid bare hand contact with raw food ingredients also ones that are served uncooked.
  • Before preparation or serving, washing hands with sanitizer for general food safety.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue/ piece of dry, clean cloth, handkerchief etc.
  • Only asymptomatic staff is allowed. If any staff shows any of the possible symtoms is advised to stay at home.

Precautions Taken During Serving the Food:

  • Making sure all serving utensils are properly washed, cleaned, dried before serving.
  • The environment where utensils are stored is dust free.
  • Used ones are washed immediately, disinfected and stored at dry dust free place.
  • The tables are wiped, disinfected before the customers are made to be sit.
  • Serving tools if falls on the ground, suspected to be contaminated is discarded from the use completely until it is cleaned and disinfected.
  • Packaging material used for the delivery of the food is cleaned, packed carefully to avoid contamination from any external factors.
  • Delivery personnel are trained, instructed to handle food items cautiously and with all the necessary precautions in mind.
  • Quality of hygiene is not compromised at any level of preparation, serving, packaging and delivery.

Precautions for Customers / Patrons:

  • All customers/ Patrons are requested to sanitize their hands with sanitizer kept at the entrance.
  • Proper social distancing is maintained through arrangement of tables and seating arrangements.
  • Patrons/ Customers are requested to follow all the hygiene norms that are necessary.
  • Patrons/ Customers are provides with sanitizers if requested by the same.
  • Masks are mandatory for every individual that enters the premises of the establishment for any reason.
  • Special precautions are taken in regards to children, high risk individuals.
  • Social distancing norms are requested to be followed at all times possible.

Beyond dosa, its employees and owners are compliant with all the necessary norms laid out by the concerned authority. Are aware and vigilant about the safety of their customers.
